Psychological ways to tell if someone is in love with you.

Are you unsure whether or not your partner is in love with you?

Maybe you are with someone who you think is in love with you but hasn’t said the big three words yet? Some people can find it very hard to say ‘I love you’. However, that doesn’t always mean that they don’t. They may just show it in different ways. It can be really hard to know for sure if someone loves you, especially when they don’t make it very obvious.

Expressing Love has never been easy.
Expressing your love for someone is always hard. It needs a lot of courage to tell someone that you have feelings for them. This has never been an easy task for anyone. Your special someone might be hinting with some signs that will tell you that they love you. Failure to notice these signs will lead to losing a relationship, unknowingly. It is always wise to look for these psychological signs when you are trying to decode your special someone's feelings for you. It is kind of annoying to do all the work in a relationship, falling in love and revealing their little secret; it is your entire job. But, don't you think, that is the reason why love gets all exciting and fascinating. What is the fun when you get the love of your life without any thrill!

Here are 15 ways to tell if your someone special secretly loves you using psychology.

1. The way that they look at you.
If you see someone looking at you and not breaking eye contact, it is a proven sign that they really like you. Many researchers have said that when we like someone, we will spend a lot of time looking at that person. So if you are in a situation where someone stares at you without looking down, it means that they are really interested in you and even if the situation can be a little bit awkward, they won't stop doing it. They are not ashamed if you will say that they are crazy for doing that because looking at you, being all that they have been dreaming of, is stronger than being ashamed.

2. Your special someone misses you when he is away.
If you are with your special someone and that if he secretly love you, they are sure to miss being around you. Missing someone is one of the biggest sign that will tell you their love for you. If your special someone lets you know that they missed you when you were apart, chances are they secretly love you. This is an important sign using psychology that screams your special someone really loves you.

3. They will drop everything for you.
When someone puts their own needs and wants aside for yours, this can be a greater sign that someone is in love with you. If you really care about someone, you will most likely to be there when they need you, even if this involves dropping everything you are doing at the time. If someone does this for you, it shows that they want to support and comfort you when you need it, which is a sign that they really care for you and your needs.

4. They make you smile.
One of the most important psychological signs that someone likes you is when they try to make you smile. They will do anything to make you feel good when you are with them and that will be their top priority. So, if there is a boy in your life who is not so brave to admit that he likes you, but does everything in his power to make you smile when you are with him, you can be sure that he wants to be more than a friend.

5. They respect your personal space.
If you need personal space, they will be sure to give you some. Your partner should listen to you and understand that you need some space, which should be respected. If your partner leaves you while you have some time to yourself, including not bombarding you with messages or just showing up uninvited, then this can really mean that they love you. When someone knows that you need some time apart, even if it's a couple of hours or a couple of days, they will understand and respect your decision, which can be a sign that someone is in love with you.

6. They touch you, 'accidently'.
When someone touches you accidentally it can mean more than just one thing. It’s one of the most powerful signs of chemistry. If that is a person you have just met and one you are trying to make some kind of a relationship with, it can mean that they are attracted to you.If they want to touch you, it is a subtle sign that they are interested in you and that they want you close. They just want to feel their own skin on yours and in that way, be way closer to you.

7. You are their priority.
Your someone might have plans of hanging out with their friends, but will be ready to cancel all their plans just to hang out with you. They might feel that time spent with you is well spent and that you will always be their priority. It is always a nice feeling to be of high priority in someone's life. If that is what your life is now, you are in luck. Have fun and enjoy all the love from your special someone.

8. You feel safe with them.
Safety is a cornerstone of loving relationships. A partner who loves you won’t physically hurt you or damage your possessions. They also won’t threaten or pressure you into doing things you don’t want to do, make decisions for you, or cut you off from your social support.Feeling safe also means feeling free to make your own decisions and express yourself without fearing their response. When you share opinions and goals, you receive encouragement, not putdowns or criticism.
Everyone experiences annoyance and anger on occasion, but it’s possible to express anger in safe, healthy ways. A partner who loves you won’t threaten you or use anger to punish you or make you afraid. If they do have an angry outburst, they might agree right away to get help not just to improve for themselves, but also because they saw your fear and want to help you feel safe again.

9. Remembers your important dates.
When you are being loved, the most obvious sign would be that they make all your important dates important. They will never let a single date that you considered to be important be like least important. They will make sure to remember and surprise you for your work anniversaries, birthdays, friend’s wedding and much more. The fact that they remember your important dates is major clue that really tells you that your someone special loves you.

10. They are clumpsy near you.
You know those scenes from the movies when a boy is madly in love with a girl but when he is close to her he is being all clumsy?
Well, if that happens to you as well with some boy, it is a proven sign that he has a thing for you.He likes you but is scared to admit it and it is really hard for him to see you with other guys flirting with you.He doesn’t know what to do but he is trying to be as close as he can to you.
So, the most important thing you can do is not laugh at him when he does something funny and help him so he can see that you care about him as well.

11. They ask about your day.
Usually, in relationships, you ask your partner how their day has been and want to know what they have been up to. This shows that you care about your partner and what has either upset them or made them happy during their day.
If your partner is showing interest in your day and what is happening when they are not with you, this is a sign of a loving relationship. It could be high or low points of your day, but whatever it is, they want to know and are eager to listen; this could be a sign that someone is in love with you.

12. You trust each other.
Trust often develops along with love, and you typically won’t find one without the other. A partner who loves you will likely trust you, unless you betray them. They won’t question you when you see friends, follow you, or go through your phone or computer. If they have no reason to believe you’ve been dishonest, they won’t accuse you of lying or cheating, or insist you go everywhere together.
Trust also means they feel safe enough to share opinions and emotions, open up about challenges they face, and ask for help. This trust might not hold if you mislead, deceive, or betray them. Love often remains where trust has shattered, so you can sometimes rebuild this trust but not without time, transparency, and hard work.

13. They know you better.
When someone secretly loves you, you will have a feeling that you have a greater level of understanding. Just an eye signal or a nod is sufficient for your someone to understand what is going on in your mind. It is like they could read your mind. Even when you are down, they would easily know how to cheer you up or what to do to make you feel better. They will have a better understanding of you better than you know you. It is a sure sign that shouts they are in love with you.

14. They actively express their emotions.
It can be hard for some people to express how they really feel and can be especially hard to try and do that in relationships too. If your partner is trying their hardest to express their emotions, even if it takes a while, it could be love. This is because when you try and tell each other your true emotions and how you feel in that moment, you are caring for each other.
Listening to each other and expressing your emotions is a great way to discuss things that may be bothering you or even things that are making you happy. Either way, it’s a good sign that someone is in love with you.

15. Admits when wrong.
Not everybody realizes their mistakes, it takes a lot of love to admit when one is wrong. Admitting to their mistake and apologizing is a sign that tells you they are into you. So, next time if you notice your someone, admitting their mistake only to you and apologizing for it, chances are they are in love with you. This is a sure psychological sign.

Being loved by someone is a great romantic feeling. To know that you are being loved makes love more passionate and fascinating. Decoding their love for you makes it worthy for all the fun and happy memories it gives you. If the feelings are mutual then try and feel free to take it to the next level than to miss a wonderful relationship which might be your destiny. So, think well before you decide because it matters a lot in the longer run. All the Best!

Benefits of Chocolate consumption

Chocolate is something that few people can resist no matter what sort of chocolate it is-dark chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate in boxes, nutty or raisin chocolate, exotic flavoured chocolate or expensive gourmet chocolate. Chocolate is something we love, and who can blame us?
Seriously! Chocolate could take over the world if it wanted-it has so much control! The effect it has on us seems to be quite profound. Research tells us that chocolate is the most commonly craved food and is considered one of the favourite foods to be consumed during emotional eating.
So what's the deal? Does chocolate contain some mystical ingredient that enslaves us upon consumption? Is it really addictive or are we simply making excuses for our distinct inability to say 'no'?
History of chocolate
Chocolate has a fascinating history, and cocoa has been used to make things that taste similar to modern chocolate for thousands of years. The ancient central American Mayan civilization though cocoa was a gift from the gods and they used it for ceremonies and even as currency. The Mayan word "cocao" actually translates to "god food",which transformed into 'food for the gods'in Latin, and was apparently mispelled to form the modern word "Cocoa" that we know today.

🍫 Surprise! Chocolate makes you happy
People in general crave chocolate because it tastes good, it smells good, and it feels awesome when it melts in our mouths.
The experience of eating chocolate is what makes you happy. Eating chocolate actually releases dopamine, a feel-good neurotransmitter, into particular regions of the brain: the frontal lobe, hippocampus and hypothalamus.
Dopamine is released any time you experience something that gives you joy - such as eating chocolate. What triggers dopamine to release is partially determined by genetics, but also can be conditioned based on specific preferences and life experiences.
Some scientists originally thought that chocolate actually had some of the compounds that activate the dopamine system directly (like drugs such as cocaine or cigarettes), but a study showed that just ingesting the chemicals of chocolate was not enough to curb cravings - the experience of eating chocolate was necessary as well.

🍫 Improves brain function
This is the best fascinating fact about chocolate, because of its potential to help older people have a better quality of life. A recent scientific study has shown that chemicals called flavanols in chocolate may be able to help with brain function, and even help to improve the effects of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Cocoa was given to elderly people with mild cognitive impairment, and it significantly improved cognition, including memory.

🍫 Health benefits
Most people think that chocolate is not very healthy, and this is partially true. Chocolate contains plenty of calories and sugar and fat from butter and milk, and like many other foods that we like, if we eat too much of it can make us fat and unhealthy. However, chocolate is also proven to be good for us too if we are sensible. Chocolate includes flavanol (which help to reduce cholesterol and support healthy blood flow) and other natural anti-oxidants which help boost our immunity and slow down ageing.

🍫 Chocolate is a stress reliever
Because dopamine is released into your brain when you eat chocolate, it can actually lower your levels of stress. This is why people often crave chocolate in stressful situations, or crave it when they are in need of comfort or reassurance. Clearly, emotions play some part in the cravings that you have. Just like people crave soup when they're sick.

🍫 Chocolate beautifies you
Chocolate contains ingredients that help us to look younger and better. It contains many different vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, zinc, and vitamin B which have anti-aging effects, and also includes calcium and sulphur which are great for healthy hair, nails and good-looking skin.

🍫 Magnesium deficiencies
Chocolate actually contains some amounts of magnesium, a micro nutrient that a lot of people, women in particular, happen to be deficient in. Chocolate is not the top magnesium-rich food, but it is the only one in the list of top ten foods that is known for its ability to produce dopamine in the brain.
Other foods, such as leafy greens, figs, avocados, and nuts have more magnesium, but chocolate is actually pretty high in the nutrient, with about 176 mg in a 100 g serving. This is data for dark chocolate though (above 60% cocoa), and dark chocolate is typically considered the healthier type of chocolate due to its lower amount of sugar per serving.
Experts say that about 80% of women are deficient in magnesium, and eating dark chocolate is actually a great, tasty way to up your magnesium levels. Chocolate should not be the main way that you increase your magnesium, but it will definitely curb those cravings.

🍫 Chocoholics
Almost everyone likes chocolate, and some people are absolutely love it, but a chocolate collector in America proves just how much he loves chocolate. Bob brown has the largest collection of chocolate bars in the world-770 different bars in total.

Why Do We Like Chocolate?

Chocolate is good for a number of reasons:

Humans are born with innate food preferences, one of those is for sweet foods and another is for creamy textures or the “mouth feel” of fat. Sugar makes food taste good and fat makes food feel good. Chocolate satisfies both these preferences. Add this to a pleasant aroma and distinct flavour and you get a sensory experience like nothing else.

Another way humans come to prefer certain foods is through situational experiences. Our brains make the connection between foods and the situation around that food. Foods enjoyed in good circumstances are obviously more highly preferred than foods experienced during negative circumstances. More often than not, when you first started eating chocolate it was centered around an enjoyable time or memory.

With all these benefits, you can enjoy your chocolate without any guilt. Happy eating!

A guy who really likes you wants to be the only guy you talk to.

For most men, their father is their first role model and you'll notice their behaviour will often mimic them.

Guys hate it when their clothes get dirty, even a small dot.

Nagging rarely works, if he doesn't respond well when you first ask, nagging is unlikely to help much.

Guys will often try to be true romantics if they notice a girl is playing hard to get.

When a guy does something stupid infront of a girl he likes, he'll end up overthinking it for days or until he sees her again.

Guys talk about girls way more than girls talk about guys.

If a guy's psychological and emotional needs aren't met by their girlfriend over a long period of time, they're more likely to fall into another girl's arm.

Learn to cook well, and you'll have him smitten, as they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

A guy often has many problems going on than you can see with your naked eye, just like everyone else.

Men may be easy to manipulate, but they absolutely hate being manipulated into doing things.

Boyfriends often need to be reassured that they're still loved.

Guys overthink things all the time, if a girl does a tiny thing that she doesn't even notice, he may think about it for hours trying to figure out if it meant anything.

When most guys say "leave me alone" they often just want you to listen.

Guys often pretend they can't hear you when they're busy or playing games. This way they're less likely to have to do the chores or take part in difficult conversations.

If a guy, ends up crying infront of you, there must be something very wrong.

A lot of men will end up disliking anyone you openly mention as being a 'nice boy' in front of them.

Some guys get very serious about relationships and can end up getting possessive with the need to always look after their partners.

They often find women with a bone structure similar to their mother's to be more attractive.

Guys may well flirt around all day, but the last person they think about before sleeping is the one they care about the most.

When a guy tells you about his problems, he may just need someone to listen to him, you don't always need to give advice back.

Guys often worry about that thin line between being compassionate and feeling like they're being whipped.

If he starts talking seriously, sit back and then listen to him, this rarely happens so something could be up.

It may be a good idea to test a guy before you trust him. I wouldn't walt too long though.

20 Impressive facts about happiness

Are you obsessively taking your happiness pulse? Do you even know what makes you happy anymore? I'm not talking about a happy day, happy hour, or a happily ever after hollywood ending. I'm talking about real, honest and true, long lasting happiness.
Happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment, and fulfillment. While happiness has many different definitions,it is often described as involving positive emotions and life satisfaction.
In general, happiness is understood as the positive emotions we have in regards to the pleasurable activities we take part in through our daily lives. Pleasure, comfort, gratitude, hope and inspiration, are examples of positive emotions that increase our happiness and move us to flourish. In scientific literature, happiness is referred to as hedonia, the presence of positive emotions and the absence of negative emotions.
Research in this field is booming, and new findings are coming out all the time. Here are a few of the most interesting facts and findings so far,

1. MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE.
Scientists have estimated that around 40% of personal happiness is actually under your control. All you need to do is consciously decide to have a positive attitude and it can have an enormous effect on your day-to-day mood. Although it's absolutely a fact that there are many factors that relate to happiness, its amazing how much is actually under your control.

2. HAPPINESS HAS POWER OVER YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM.
Being happy doesn't just sound like a pleasant thing. It can be a pleasant thing for our bodies, too. As if it didn't already seem like happy people have it all, they're also less likely to get sick than unhappy people. Happiness has the power to boost your immune system and has actually been shown to make you less likely to contract the common cold. Just one of about a million reasons to put a smile on your face today.

3. HAPPINESS IS CONTAGIOUS.
We are all connected, what we feel affects the people we meet. Watch what happens when you smile at someone who passes you by on the street. If you make eye contact, they will probably smile back. You just delivered positive energy into the soul of another person.

4. SMELLING FLORAL SCENTS LIKE ROSES CAN MAKE US HAPPY.
How many times has someone said you to "stop and smell the roses"? Well, that may be a good advice when it comes to happiness. Some scientists believe that the smell that flowers give off was evolutionarily intended to induce positive feelings in those who smell them. The thinking is that if the smeller is happier, they are more likely to protect the flower. So go ahead, smell those roses. Seems like a simple enough way to boost your mood, if you ask me.

5. STOP TAKING YOUR HAPPINESS PULSE.
Measuring your happiness doesn't increase it. It's like getting on the scales everyday when you're on a diet to discover that you only lost 1/8 lb, you become discouraged. Make happiness an alternative lifestyle, like your new vegan diet.

6. BEING OUTDOORS CAN MAKE YOU HAPPIER.
The world outside of your office can be such a happy place. According to a study, being outdoors makes people happier. The ideal spot for happiness is an outdoor spot near the water, when the weather is warm, according to the study.

7. CERTAIN FOODS MAKE YOU HAPPY.
When it comes down to it, your mood is a result of your brain chemistry, and eating certain foods can help affect it. Tryptophan is a chemical found in foods like nuts, cheese, soy and chicken, and it can help boost your brain's production of another chemical called serotonin, which induces calm and happy feelings.

8. HAPPY PEOPLE ENJOY DEEP CONVERSATIONS.
Gossip is the talk of negative thinkers. Happy people enjoy deep philosophical conversations that stimulate the intellect. In psychological science, Dr Matthias Mehl reported that in a study he conducted, happier people had twice as many conversations as unhappy people.

9. DANCE TO THE MUSIC.
Dance is powerful. JL Hanna, states that dance strengthens the immune system, eliminates stress and its effects. A study suggests that you can put yourself into a good mood by listening to positive music. Researchers divided subjects into two groups; one that listened to positive sounding music and one that listened to nothing. After the experiment, the music group's mood was higher than the non-music group's.

10. RELATIONSHIPS ARE MUCH MORE CONDUCTIVE TO HAPPY LIFE THAN MONEY.
Sometimes I wonder if money can really buy happiness after all. It seems relationships outshine money, though, according to science. If you're in the pursuit of happiness, make sure that you don't leave the people in your life behind as you try to get better and better pay. Your relationships with people have a much stronger effect on your happiness than the money in your pocket, and not spending enough time with friends and family is one of the top five deathbed regrets.

11. BRIGHT COLORS CAN BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY.
According to a study, bright colors go hand in hand with happiness. This is especially true of yellow, the study found, as happier people favor that color. Oppositely, gray was most closely associated with anxiety and depression in the study.

12. RAINY DAY BLUES.
The weather outside can have a strong effect on your emotional well being. Things like Seasonal Affective disorder (SAD) can make people disproportionately sad in the wintertime, but its also reported that people who live in places with more temperate weather- that is, not too hot and not too cold- report higher levels of happiness.

13. HAPPY ARE THOSE ON HOURLY WAGES.
Yet another interesting fact- According to a study those who are paid by the hour at their job versus making a set salary report being happier. Why? The researchers theorize this could be because employees are able to better focus on the worth of their time in each paycheck, thus promoting happiness. (however, these findings are limited, so take them with a grain of salt!)

14. IT'S ABOUT WHAT'S INSIDE, NOT WHAT'S OUTSIDE.
We like to think that we'd be happy if we just had that car, or that house, or what have you, but it seems as though that's not the case. External circumstances like material goods, actually have a relatively small effect on overall happiness compared to internal factors like genetics and attitude.

15. DOING GOOD FOR OTHERS MEANS, DOING GOOD FOR YOURSELF.
When it comes to happiness, by making others happy, we can make ourselves happy, too. According to a study, performing good deeds is one of the fastest ways to get some happiness into our own lives. The outlet noted multiple studies have shown people who donate to charities, for instance will feel happier, thanks to a trigger of feelings of reward. The studies go on to find the brain is then also encouraged to do more good things.

16. THE GOOD OLD DAYS.
We all get a little nostalgic now and then, but looking back on good times can actually make you happier in the long run. Researchers have found that thinking about positive memories can help people gain improved self worth and a more positive outlook on the future.

17. HAPPINESS IS A LIFE LONG PURSUIT.
Awards, achievements, and celebrations are temporary happy moments. 'Happily ever after' is hard work that never ends. Live each day as happy as you can. A day lost in misery is gone forever.

18. THINKING ON YOUR FEET.
Thinking quickly can actually make you happier than reasoning things out slowly. A study indicates that when people are forced to think on the fly it can actually lead to more positive moods.

19. HAPPINESS CAN HELP ALLEVIATE PAIN.
Happiness as a pain reliever? Yup, According to the study, those who experienced more positive emotions- happiness, enthusiasm, etc... were less likely to experience pain.

20. HAPPY PEOPLE ARE SUCCESSFUL.
Most people think success makes you happy. But according to Sonja Lyubomirsky, happiness creates success. Happy people are confident, optimistic, energetic and sociable. "They are more likely to have fulfilling marriages and relationships, high incomes, superior work performance, community involvement, robust health and even a long life."

Feeling stressed after a long day of work? Treat yourself to a bubble bath. Feeling blue? Treat yourself to a decadent dessert. Feeling frustrated after an argument with a friend? Skip your workout and have an extra scoop of ice cream.
The message is clear: If you want to feel happy, you should focus on your own wishes and desires. Yet this is not the advice that many people grew up hearing.

Happiness is simple: Start dancing, get a pet, chat deeply, and smile; you’ll live longer.
