ARE YOU AN INTROVERT OR AN EXTROVERT?

It's human nature to be curious about ourselves and others. Whether you take a more analytical, psychology-backed test or a fun zodiac-based quiz, you like to do it to gain insight on who you are. And people often identify with having introverted or extroverted personality types. Typically, introverts tend to enjoy more time to themselves, and are very aware of their internal thoughts and recharge more in solitude. Extroverts can be just the opposite. Extroverts are often more outspoken, outgoing and absolutely love being around other people. That's what really fills them up. Truly understanding each personality type and which one you are can help you manage a vast range of experiences.

Here are some common personality traits associated with INTROVERSION

1. Alone time is the best time
The idea of being home alone is thrilling, not taxing. Those periods of solitude are crucial to an introvert's health and happiness. Whether you're simply spending time resting or engaging in an activity, solitude is a welcome relief. Introverts often enjoy reading, gardening, crafting, writing, gaming, watching movies, or doing any other activity that's performed alone.

2.Introverts are in touch with feelings
Introverts are masters of their emotions. They reflect until they are able to understand the triggers that are responsible for their negative thoughts. This retrospection helps them dig deep enough to deal with entrenched self defeating beliefs that limit their potential.

3.They are introspective and curious
They may find themselves daydreaming or working things out in their mind long before they put a plan of action in place or lift a single finger to change anything. Introverts have a very active inner thought process. That also leads them towards self-reflection and research. They are dedicated to pursuing their interests and feeling prepared and well-read.

4.Introverts are good listeners
Introverts listen before they speak. They watch from the sidelines and take some mental notes before they insert themselves into any social situations. This preparation allows them to enter a conversation confidently without stumbling over their words or doubting the accuracy of what they say.

5.They're accused of zoning out a lot
Introverts often "escape" from a situation by zoning out or letting their mind wander away from the task at hand. For them this may be a way to leave a situation that feels too chaotic or uncomfortable; it's a survival mechanism of sorts. But to others, it may seem like they're unfocused.

6.Introverts are trustworthy people
Introverts can keep secrets. They know how hard it can be to trust somebody, so they won't share a personal detail, if you don't want them to. This is exactly why introverts are excellent best friends.

7.They take a handful of true, close friends over a bunch of acquaintances any day
There's certainly nothing wrong with it, but few introverts prefer such large social circles. Instead, introverts truly value the meaning of fewer close friendships; they don't like to juggle emotions. And they might not have time to build up trust with dozens of acquaintances. Now, that doesn't mean that an acquaintance couldn't potentially become a close friend. But many introverts like to move at slower paces.

8.Introverts are good at studying
Introverts believe knowledge is power. They are intensely interested in the things that they care about and want to learn everything they can. This eagerness helps them become experts in their field.

9.It's not uncommon for people to underestimate introverts
They might not be the first to step up during pitch meetings, but that doesn't mean they don't have great ideas. It can be quite the internal struggle for an introvert to step forward and recieve credit for their hard work all while avoiding the spotlight. This can cause co-workers and some bosses to underestimate them, but don't be fooled. They celebrate their victories internally.

10.Introverts are very observant
Introverts identify changes in their environment very quickly. They will probably be the first person to notice a new haircut. This often causes their friends and co-workers to thank them for being so thoughtful.

11.They love getting lost in a good book
When introverts aren't entertaining themselves, they love to get lost in an exceptionally good book. It does not matter if the book is thriller, a non fiction or an autobiography, they simply love to immerse themselves in another world. Not to mention, novel-reading gives them more alone time. And very few introverts pass up that.

12.Introverts are super focused
Introverts concentrate with everything they've got. They make a point of paying attention to non-verbal cues that might reveal hidden meanings, because they know words are only half of the story. This ability helps them avoid potential misunderstandings.

13.They are self sufficient
Introverts are not dependent people. They believe it is foolish to depend on another person to take care of their material needs. This freedom makes them feel empowered, because they know they can manage any curve ball that life might throw at them.

14.Introverts are thought-provoking when you get them talking
introverts have interesting things to say. They might not be fans of small talk, but that doesn't mean they can't be engaging in a deep discussion. This distinction is a common source of confusion. Introverts are often considered to be "quiet",but that's not because they don't like to talk about trivial things. Introverts are passionate people who want to make the most of their days, so they'd rather not waste their time with a shallow conversation. If you want to find out how fascinating an introvert can be, simply ask them an intelligent question about a topic that they care about.

15.They "feel" more
One study shows that introverts are more likely to be diagnosed with depression. This could be, another study suggests, because introverts don't feel happy as often as extroverts. It's unclear why introverts don't report higher happiness levels, but it may have a lot to do with how introverts identify happiness. Introverts prefer a higher quality of friendships and emotional regulations. It may be difficult to achieve this high level of satisfaction constantly.

Do you think that you might have EXTROVERSION personality traits? check out the list

1.They're inspired to socialize
They tend to feel "charged up" and inspired after they've spent time with other people. Extrovert tend to find such social interactions refreshing and they actually gain energy from such exchanges.
When extroverts have to spend a lot of time alone, they often begin to feel uninspired and listless. If given a chance between spending time alone and spending time with other people,an extrovert will almost always choose to spend time with a group.

2.Extroverts are outgoing and optimistic
They are often described as happy, positive, cheerful, and sociable. They aren't as likely to dwell on problems or ponder difficulties. While they experience difficulties and troubles like anyone else, extroverts are often more able to let it roll off their backs.

3.They prefer to talk out problems or questions
When they are facing a problem, they prefer to discuss the issues and various options with others. Talking about it, helps them explore the issues in-depth and figure out which option might work the best. After a difficult day at work or school, talking about it with friends or family can help them feel less stressed out.

4.They have a lot of friends and acquaintances
Extroverts make new friends easily. This is in part, because they enjoy other people's energy and getting to engage with people around them. They also tend to have a large social network and many acquaintances. With pursuing new interests and activities, extroverts are often keen to expand their social circles.

5.They love to talk it out
Just as introverts are known for being on the quiet side, extroverts are known for being talkative.Instead of processing thoughts and emotions internally, extroverts like to use talking to sort out their ideas.
That doesn't mean they have a constant external monologue of emotions, but they prefer to talk things out with others.Whether it's a disagreement,a project at work, or a netflix series they are obsessed with, extroverts will seek conversation to work out all the details.

6.They are very open
While introverts are sometimes perceived as closed off and aloof, extroverts are typically very open willing to share their thoughts and feelings. Because of this other people generally find that extroverts are easier to get to know.

7.They are flexible
Extroverts are often adaptable to any situation and innovative when problems arise. While they may be organized, not all extroverts need a plan of action before they can begin a project, plan a vacation, or undertake any task. Spontaneous decision may be welcomed.

8.Extroverts like to take the lead
In addition to being socially active and outgoing, extroverts often enjoy leadership roles. Whether they're the friend who sends out cute email invitations for bunch every week or the CEO of a company,an extrovert probably likes the attention and action that leadership brings.

9.They aren't afraid of risk
Extroverts may engage in risky behavior. Some theories assert that their brain is wired to reward them for it,if it goes well. One study found that extroverts who take risks and succeed are rewarded with dopamine, a chemical that triggers the reward center of the brain. In the case of the study, participants gambled, but the response could be true for any number of activities. Extroverts may be more willing to take risks, because the benefit is a surge of chemicals that stimulate the brain.

10.Extrovert like to look on the bright side of the life
The best news about being an extrovert? They're usually more optimistic and less inclined to have anxiety and they're often happier.

INTROVERSION/EXTROVERSION IS A SPECTRUM
Most people are not purely introverted or purely extroverted. They fall somewhere in the middle with characteristics of both. Also, people can change personalities over the course of lifetime. You may be more introverted as a child, but find that you're more extroverted as an adult. Fluctuations in the personality spectrum are normal. Some characteristics may be stronger, which is why people may self identify as an introvert or extrovert.
Your genes may play a significant role in determining where you will fall on the personality continuum.Research shows that people who are extroverted respond differently to dopamine, a chemical in the reward circuitry of your brain. Extroverts get a jolt of satisfaction or energy from social interactions, because of the chemical.Introverts feel overstimulated.
Your life experiences can significantly affect your personality, too. It's possible to change or slide slightly on the spectrum throughout your life. You may learn to interact with others differently and reap rewards differently as an adult.

There is no need to change or alter your personality. No matter what, your personality is a wonderful part of who you are.

The way you hold your fist reveals your internal, external & love personality

When we are angry or excited, we usually curl our fingers into a fist. However, different people have different ways of clenching their fingers into a fist. The reason for these differences lies in their personalities. The way you clench your fist can tell you more about yourself that you even wanted to know! Let's find out on a weird, fist clenching journey together.
Figuring out what kind of personality you have based on your fist is easy. First, make a fist and see which way your fingers lay. Do you wrap your fingers around your thumb? Or does the thumb remain on the outside of your fist? Or is it neither, and your thumb rests next to your finger?

1. THUMB NEXT TO YOUR FINGERS
External personality
If you hold your fist like in picture, you are likely to be sensitive and thoughtful.  Also insecure, compassionate, possess a strong imagination, and you like helping other people. Sometimes, it's almost as if you have a sixth sense when it comes to knowing other people's innermost feelings. You have a great curiosity in things around you and are not afraid to explore.

Internal personality
You want to feel protected, recognized, accepted and be treated sincerely. But sometimes, you think wrongly that others would also have these qualities. This result in misunderstanding and disappoinment sometimes. However, you know who treats you in a good way, and who in a bad way. You know what to love and what to hate.

Love personality
You are not good at expressing love, if your partner feels that your love is 30%,in fact, it is 50% or more than that. You will not be honest, dilute the expression of feelings, and suppress your emotions. Not the person who never gets angry, you suppress your bad temper for love. You get used to treating people nicely, you never know what selfishness is.

2. THUMB IN FRONT OF FINGERS
External personality
If you hold your fist as in picture, then you are talented, charismatic and able to make friends,no matter which situation you are in. You are confident and have lot of pride, but you are also hardworking and hence, have reason to be proud of your achievements. Also generous, flexible, alert, eye catching, dedicated and are full of ideas as well as you care a lot about power. You can tell you've got power, because this is the proper form of a fist to make when you throw a punch. Not that you want you, necessarily.

Internal personality
However, in actual fact, you are vulnerable, have high expectations, want too many things, but you are afraid of getting hurt and betrayal. You often need encouragement, and at the end of the day, you're just looking for someone to understand and accept you for who you are.

Love personality
Always overthink, stuck yourself in the depressing memories, hard to let go. You always hesitate, eager to have someone accompany, but not allow yourself to do so. Because you love your partner very much, and you don't want him/her to hate or sick you, thus, you act like you do not care and everything does not matter to you.

3. THUMB RESTING INSIDE FINGERS
External personality
If you hold your fist as in picture, you are creative and witty person who is clever with words. You are emotional, agile, practical, thoughtful and alert. Also you are smart, good at manipulating and a peacemaker, because you always think a lot from others' perspective, but you can also be a bit sensitive and have a tendency to worry too much. You may have a lot going on in your mind, but most of the time, you choose not to say them out.

Internal personality
Most of the time, you tend to be silent, but that is your mildness, you usually prefer to sacrifice yourself rather than hurting others' feelings. All you need is for someone to understand you which is not hard to be done, and you want flexibility and dreams.

Love personality
You really don't like the hustle and bustle circumstances, a comfortable environment is good place for you, and so does your relationship. Your greatest weakness is having a soft heart. Even when a person does a lot of harm to you, if that person sincerely apologizes, you are able to forgive and forget.

What your sleep position reveals about your personality?

Your sleep position reveal a lot about your personality and your thoughts. Its surprising to know that your body is communicating even when you are fast asleep.
When it comes to sleep positions, the one you tend to favor at night says a lot more about you than you may realize. The way we choose to sleep at night is an intimate question of what we find comfortable and what is comforting to us. The way in which we snooze is something that we do while we are unconscious, making it a honest expression of our innermost selves.
Your sleeping position can even benefit your life beyond the bed.

What type of sleepers are you?

1. SIDE SLEEPER
             log roller position

The sleeper rests on their side, legs extended straight and arms in place. This is the most popular position for any sleeper.
You might think that sleep with this style is boring and super stiff, but exact opposite is actually true.
Log sleepers are typically social butterflies, friendly, carefree and extremely trusting, which can sometimes make them seem a little more gullible to outsiders.
This position keeps your neck and back in alignment, making it one of the best position for back pain and neck pain. To help ease any discomfort, you can also use a pillow or blanket between your knees.

          ➡ Yearner

Yearner sleep like similar to log sleep position, but their arms are stretched out in front of them and also sleeper snoozes on the side.
These folks tend to be open minded, slow and suspicious when decision making, but once their minds are set, they set on that path. Good and reliable friends.

2. BACK SLEEP
          ➡ soldier/ back track

Soldiers are typically quiet, strong and focused people who don't like big fuss.
They have high expectations for themselves and others around them.
This is the best sleeping position out there, because it allows your back and neck to be in their alignment.
When you are lying back your throat is more narrow, making snoring louder and more frequent. This restricts the air ways and may also be a poor sleeping position for those suffering from sleep apnea.

          ➡ Star gazer

They lie on their backs with legs stretched out, arms stretched up beyond the head, looking like a starfish on land. This is the least popular sleep style by numbers. Truly unique.
Those who sleep in this dreamy position have a positive, happy-go-lucky outlook in life, they are very loyal friends and make relationships a great priority.
They love to be supportive, tend to help friends when they are in problems.

3. STOMACH SLEEP
          ➡ sky diver
They sleep on their stomach, head on one side, with their arms wrapped around behind a pillow.
These sleepers have open, playful and fun personalities, they seem to be spirited, but skydiver sleepers can be secretly anxious and crave control of situations, and they tend to be risk takers.
This position greatly increase the risk of neck and back pain, because it crunches the sensitive muscles that protect that area, while flattening the spine nerve causing strain that may lead to back pain and air blockage.

          ➡ Foetal / baby position
The person sleep on their side with their legs curled up underneath them. The most common of them all, 41% of all sleepers adopt this position.
Baby position sleepers have a tough exterior that hides a shy and sensitive nature inside.
They tend to be quite personable, even if they come off as shy upon first meeting.
Sleeping in the foetal position causes least amount of sleep disturbance.
Best position for aligning the spine as well as one of the best sleeping position for back pain.

Do you have the same personalities as it says?
