Facts on anger

Anger is a part of our emotion. It's a natural phenomenon. Anger is a frequently misunderstood emotion. People confuse it with aggression, violence, they think of it as mostly unhealthy and they fail to recognize the times in their lives when their anger has been positive. At the same time, anger may even make people take wrong decisions in their daily life and may clash while in anger. Anger can be controlled and saturated in right direction as well.

√ Anger is not inherently bad
One of the most common misconceptions about anger is that it is bad for you. It's not. In fact, anger is a valuable emotion as it helps people confront injustice. It alerts us to the fact that we have been wronged or treated unfairly and it energizes us to respond to that injustice. Much like hunger motivates us to eat, thirst motivates us to drink, and fear motivates us to avoid things that are dangerous, anger motivates us to respond to confrontation and unfairness.

√ Anger can act as strongest motivation
"Anger is like Gasoline, if you spray it around and somebody lights a match, you've got an inferno, but if we can put our anger inside an engine, it can drive us forward."
When we feel that emotion that rules us up, we also feel motivated. At first, knowing how best to act is difficult, but in time the emotion of anger can drive us to create something innovated to solve a problem. While we can all relate to anger as a result of injustice or pain, we don't always realize that stress and taking on too much can cause angry outbursts. The body and the mind sometimes work together to tell us we need to cut back at work or find more time to relax. Motivating ourselves to enjoy life more and stress less is one of the best benefits of anger.

√ Two hormones adrenaline and cortisol are released when we are angry
These chemicals acts as strong boost to our body muscles for several minutes.

√ Anger teaches us about our ability to cope
We all experience anger from time to time, and even when we repeatedly feel frustrated and irritable our feelings may not indicate anything abnormal. Anger teaches us about our ability to cope, because we can easily and objectively look at ourselves and answer a few questions.Am I feeling angry? Sometimes we feel pressured or rushed and that leads to anger. Solving the underlying problem in this situation means planning and being more organized.

√ Anger is an emotion with physiological effects
We all understand the feeling of a rapid heartbeat, sweaty palms and burning stomach as our muscles tighten and we feel anger. The "fight or flight" system engages as we decide how best to deal with our anger.Expressing anger is always the best thing for you. When anger feeds off itself, your release of anger causes you more damage. Be wary of the cycle that wreaks havoc on your nervous system.

√ Anger can cause a variety of problems for people
Everyone knows that anger can be problematic for people. We have all read about cases of people who lost their temper and hurt someone or hurt themselves. However, people don't always recognize the scope of the types of problems that can emerge from anger. While arguments, damaged relationships, physical fights and risky driving are fairly common. We see several other types of consequences that emerge from maladaptive anger. Chronic anger has been known to lead to long term health consequences and finally anger can lead people to experience other uncomfortable emotions like sadness, fear or guilt.

√ Anger causes separation
Speaking of separation, what are the effects when you are angry? Anger pushes people away, scares them, makes them fight back or shut down. Relationships don't have room to breathe when they are defined by anger. "How could you?" "You shouldn't have...... "sound familiar?
Remember that anger or any reaction is not the fault of the other. If you are angry, look within yourself. Lovingly investigate what has been triggered in you, and your whole perspective on the situation will shift.

√ Chronic and uncontrolled exhausted anger can directly lead to heart attack or paralysis
When you just can't shake the anger and it feeds off itself for too long, you will either find yourself making yourself physically sick or your ourburst can land you in jail. Pressure in veins begin to rise with increase in anger. Smoking, poor diet and lack of exercise can exacerbate the effects of anger, putting you at an increased risk for cardio-vascular events.

√ Anger stops growth of new neurons in brain
Thus, growth of brain is weakened when a person is angry.

√ Humor can diffuse anger
Realizing that life is stressful is only the first step. Actually, the realization is more like lacing up the shoes than even taking the first step. The first step comes from the understanding that anger is an emotion that men and women feel differently and anger does not have to control us. The simple act of laughing at anger can diffuse it. In an argument one person can defeat the mounting anger with a joke. Wouldn't recommend a stand up comedy act to diffuse a dangerous hostage situation, but when your coworkers can't agree on a project, trying to diffuse the situation with office antics can help everyone get focused.

√ Start working out when experiencing anger
When we're angry, a large quantity of energy is stored in our muscles. To calm down, this energy needed to be released. Best remedy to release this energy is to start working.
All that anger, all that fear, all that negative energy take it to the gym and spend it there. These things make a great fuel, let these things nourish you and not the either way around.

√ Try to fill your stomach with healthy diet when you're angry
Hunger increases magnitude of anger exponentially.

           AGGRESSION IS ANGER IN ACTION
Feeling the anger, and choosing to take a deep breath or choosing to verbally assault a cheating lover is the difference between anger as an emotion and anger in action. Aggression is when we act on our anger, and aggression can land us in jail. Men often feel like showing anger in public or in workplace is a sign of weakness. Hiding feelings of anger can cause outbursts at home in these situations. Accept when you feel angry and try to understand its root.
When anger must be released in a physical form, try mixed martial arts or boxing lessons to control the aggressive instinct. The benefit from anger in this scenario is that you can express your aggression and exercise at the same time. Sometimes, this physical exercise is what the body needed when the mind felt the anger emotion.

Amazing and cool facts about babies

Cute, cuddly and full of curiosity babies are amazing to say the least. A baby can brighten a room with its smile, melt a heart with its laugh and provide a whole new perspective on life.
But we already know this about our little ones. What you may not know is that babies are not only filled with sweetness, but also the subject of a abundance of astonishing facts that prove babies really are the most remarkable little things on the planet.
If we told you that babies know exactly what they are doing, you'd probably laugh at the screen now. But, it's true! Being adorable is not the only thing that your newborn has going for him. He also has an impressive set of qualities and skills apart from causing blow outs and putting things in his mouth. Yes, babies may seem a bit helpless, incapable of taking care of themselves. But not many know that it's an act. Sounds incredible, doesn't it? Well read the post to learn more surprising and weird baby facts.

BABIES HAVE 300 BONES
Unlike adults, babies are born with 300 bones, that's 94 more. Where do the extra bones go? They fuse together during growth that makes it 206.For example, the skull of the baby has several bones that overlap one another during the birth to help the baby squeeze out. Babies also have a very soft spot on the head called the fontanelle. Before the skull grows completely,it is just a squishy and sensitive area.

NEW BORNS ARE TEAR FREE
Babies hawl and scream for what they want or need, but they do not cry. They don't produce real tears until approximately the age of three weeks. That's because their tear ducts are not entirely developed. They do produce enough moisture to keep the eyes healthy, but they won't shed proper tears for several weeks. Some babies do not drop their first tear until four or five months. That's unusual and rare.

NEWBORNS DON'T HAVE KNEECAPS
No kneecaps? No worries. Babies make do without. Babies have a structure of cartilage that resembles the kneecaps. These cartilage do not develop until they are fully six months. And that's the reason most of the babies crawl on the arms instead of all fours. In fact, babies can crawl as soon as they are born. Researchers found that when the baby was dried and laid on the mother's chest for feeding, he could find her chest within an hour. Now that's impressive.

A BABY HAS 1000 TASTE BUDS
Babies have 3 times more taste buds as adults. 10,000 to be precise. The taste buds of the babies shows up on the third trimester, not just on the tongue, but also on the back, roof and sides of the mouth. Their taste buds only recognise sweet and sour. Salt isn't brought into the equation until around the age of four months.

NEWBORNS HEAR, SMELL AND SEE AS GOOD AS US
Newborn can hear as well as an adult. They startle at just about anything, not because it's softer or louder, but because it's new. Even a baby as young as two days old will recognise his mother's voice, even if he only hears one single syllable. It activates an area of the brain associated with language process. An astonishing fact is that the newborns can recognise their mother's voice at birth itself. When the baby is born, his hearing power is not 100% up to par as the middle ear is still full of fluid, which somewhat impairs the hearing. The only sound that they can recognise is their mother's voice.
Even the sense of smelling is elevated at this stage. It's much more stronger than yours and a newborn uses his sense of smell to get to know his parents.
But the eyesight is not very brilliant. Newborn babies are near sighted. Their vision allows them to see objects and people clearest when they are 8 to 12 inches away. That's because the brain cannot process information very well at this stage. The brain start processing information at about 8 to 15 inches of range. Their brains contain around 100 billion neurons, which is why they notice everything. It takes a few weeks for the infants to distinguish visually between his mother and other adults.

BABIES LOSE THE HAIR THEY ARE BORN WITH
All of it. Your little one may have thick, black hair now, but there is no guarantee that it will stay the same. The hair falls out in the first few weeks and then grows back over the next year. The hair can even go from straight to curly in a few months.

INFANTS HAVE SUPERSIZED BODY PARTS
You probably noticed your little one's bits were especially prominent at birth. While the swelling will subside, your babies head and eyes will remain supersized during the first year. A newborn's head accounts for 1/4th of his body length while the adult human skull is about 1/7th of the total body length.
And baby's eyes? They are already 75% of the size of their adult eyes.

THE EYE COLOR CAN CHANGE
All the babies are born with blue eyes. That's because the color of the eye comes from the color particle located behind the iris and in its particular tissue. This pigment or melanin is not developed at the time of the birth, which is why most of the babies, regardless of the genetics are born with blue eyes. The baby's true eye color becomes apparent after six months of age. But if both the parents have blue eyes, then even the baby will have blue eyes.

INFANTS FIRST RECOGNIZE THE COLOR RED
Some experts suggest newborns can only see black, white and grey while others suggest that they can see different hues, but they are incredible blurry. However, the first color infants recognize is red. The last colors? Blue and purple.

BABIES LAUGH 300 TIMES A DAY
On an average, babies laugh 300 times a day while adults laugh only 60 times. That's only when the baby has learned to laugh. It's a reminder that babies enjoy life much more than we do.

Incredible, right? And this is just the begining! The first year is only the start to a life long journey with your little one, filled with memorable moments to make, fascinating facts to uncover and amazing adventures to experience together.

"Ghost in dream" is real

When we sleep,we cycle through different stages. We start the night in non-rapid eye movement (NREM).sleep which gets progressively deeper. We then cycle back until we hit rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. During REM sleep we are most likely to have vivid dreams. At this stage we are also paralysed. Perhaps as a safety mechanism to stop us acting out our dreams so that we don't end up attempting to fly.
But sleep paralysis is really not all that complicated; simply put your mind wakes up before the rest of your body. During the dreaming stage of sleep, your muscles relax to a point where you can't control them, probably to keep you from acting out your dreams. If you become mentally aware while in that state, you experience a sense of paralysis, but it usually goes within minutes.
Dreaming is possibly one of the most mysterious and mystical aspects of the natural human experience. Isnt't it strange to that every night, we slip into a seemingly alternate reality built entirely by our minds, during which we can experience the deepest emotions, ranging anywhere from intense passion to sweat-inducing fear?
Have you ever seen or met a ghost when you're fast asleep? That is in dream? If you haven't had a ghost dream so far, there's every likelihood you may experience one in the future. That's because dreams that involve contact with a ghost or spirit, generally known as "VISITATION DREAMS" are quite common. What does it mean if you see a ghost in dream?  Is it just a trick of the mind or is there something more to being visited by a ghost in your dream?  There are many explanations and many possibilities, some of them are scientific, some of them are spooky, some of them are historical, some of them are traditional, some of them are supernatural and so on, each one of them equally intriguing.
Dreams are in fact considered one of the most effective ways for the spirit realm to connect to the living. It is thought that perhaps dreams allow a little opening in our consciousness for the mystical realm to slip through-offering us a time to experience enhance clairvoyance, divine inspiration and even messages from the dead. Scientists truthfully know so little about dreams or why everyone has them. So, creepy as it may be,it's worth it to open your mind to the possibility that may be spirits can visit people in dreams to deliver messages, warning, and beyond.Anne Reith, phD and founder of the institute for mediumship, Psychic, astrological and Reiki training explains that it is actually easier for spiritual entities of all kinds eg: deceased loved ones, guides, angels to communicate with us while we are sleeping, partly because you're more likely to be receptive to it in a dream than you would be in a waking state.
But how do we know that a dream about a dead loved one is actually ghostly encounter and not just a manifestation of our subconscious?  "Visitation dreams are typically clear, vivid, intense and are experienced as real visits when the dreamer awakens. The dreamer is always changed by the experience" explained Patrick McNamara,phD an associate professor at Boston University School of Medicine. So apparently if an apparition is actually contacting you in your sleep, you'll know, as it'll feel distinctly different than your average dream.
Apparently, though it isn't just loved ones who can visit you during a dream state. "Any spirit can get in touch with you while you sleep." explained psychic medium Amanda Linette Meder. "This includes people that you know who have crossed over, other deceased people that you have yet to meet, but want to get your attention, deceased family members and friends of people you currently know on earth, spirit guides and angels."
And while many reports of visitation dreams are overwhelmingly positive, there are certainly times when they could be more sinister. So called "EARTHBOUND SPIRITS" are allegedly ghosts who have remained behind due to an attachment or fear of passing on. These are typically the ghosts that are attributed to hauntings-and they can sometimes make their way.
"A dreamer will know what type of spirit has arrived in their dream world, by the way they feel in the presence of the spirit."explained Om Times. "If the dreamer feels filled with a comfort,a luminous light, no anxiety, and a feeling of peace they are in the presence of a higher vibrational spirit who has crossed and returned. If the dreamer feels low, some anxiety, uncomfortable, fear, cautious with a sense of dark or dim light hovering, then the dreamer has encountered an earthbound spirit."
But not to fear-if you encounter what you believe to be a spirit in a dream and you aren't getting the best vibes, try to summon love, not fear and send them off by letting them know they're not invited to enter your space. "As long as the dreamer remains on control, has no fear, and does not give their power or energy away to the earthbound spirit,no attachment will take place."
In countries and cultures around the world, dreams have been regarded and treated as spiritual experiences since ancient times. Ancient Chinese and Maxican civilizations believed dreams allowed them to communicate with their ancestors. Ancient greeks and Romans allegedly saw dreams as divine guidance and as "direct messages from the gods",forwarning them about future events." If reports about visitation dreams and ghosts contacting people in their sleep are true, then these traditional beliefs may be rooted in truth-and if you ever experience one for yourself, then perhaps you'll know for sure.
However, as has been pointed out repeatedly,Scientists attempts to dismiss ghosts in dreams as "Misfiring brain chemistry and derailed sleep cycles" is hard to reconcile with many reports from reliable personalities that describe "actual physical symptoms of attack, effects on the real world, or episodes witnessed by other people, complete with inexplicable physical phenomena such as moving objects."

DID YOU KNOW? The pupil of your eye expands upto 45% when you look at someone you love.

Falling in love is one of the most beautiful feelings. Isn't it? According to a study, the eyes of the individual in love depict it all when he/she in love. The romantic depiction of the eyes as 'windows to the soul'  is not just another poetic expression to inspire the ones in love;  it is true, indeed. When you see the person you are in love with, your pupil dilate.
Our pupils naturally dilate throughout the day. The main reason for this is to control the amount of light that enters the lens; allowing us to focus on objects. The muscles in the iris (the colored part of the eye) control pupil size. Pupils get bigger and smaller depending on the amount of light around them.
Autonomous nervous system is responsible for the dilation and constriction of the pupils; the same system is responsible for goose bumps as well as heart rates. When you look at the sun, you are unable to bear its rays and hence you are never able to stare at it. However, that's not the only thing that your eyes react to, when we experience a physiological response to emotions such as fear or in this case attraction,it causes our pupils to dilate.
Dopamine, the happy hormone is a powerful neurotransmitters which is regulated within the nervous system and associated with feelings of pleasure. The chemical release of dopamine actually causes the pupils to dilate.
Dopamine levels peak when you are expecting something good. We're talking about when you are about tp eat your favorite slice of cake; when spend time with someone you love or, in some cases, during an addiction.
With the matters of the heart, the old belief that pupils enlarge when we look at someone we are physically attracted to, can indeed be backed up-which could be where the phrase - 'easy on the eye' derives from.

The power of " I LOVE YOU "

The quality of life is usually tied intimately to the quality of our relationships with those around us. All kinds of relationships those with parents, with friends, with co-workers, with boyfriends or girlfriends, with spouses etc..have an impact.
In an intimate relationships we often find ourselves looking for the same thing- validation, confidence, reassurance and of course, love. Deep and meaningful L - O - V - E.
When we don't hear " I Love you " from our significant other, that validation, confidence and reassurance can quickly drop off.
But where did the significance behind these words come from and why do we put so much emphasis on eight little letters?
Are any three words more heavily charged than " I Love you "? They do more than acknowledge that I will your good. They affirm that you have a place in their heart; That I delight in you, that you are a part of me; that you have some power over me. They say I want to give you the gift of myself. They confess that your acceptance or rejection of me can build me up or tear me down. They admit my vulnerability. They promise, " I will forgive whatever wrong you cause me, because for you Iam willing to be wounded. Iam willing to suffer." They beg the response. Yes, I Love you too!
Concept of " I Love you " is simple and yet astoundingly powerful. Caring touch, kind words, and intentional routine will form the kind of bond and connection that opens not just the heart, but also the mind and the will. Because  of the dopamine that's released and the emotional connections that are made, phrase " I Love you " actually wire the brain for greater impulse control, stimulate a desire for positive behavior, and increase attention span and impulse control - all things that are crucial to succeed in relationships and in life.
There is not a phrase in the English language that is as loaded with emotion as " I Love you ".The reason we place so much emphasis on hearing the three little words is that it's a symbol for the next level of the relationship. This makes hearing 'Love' a whole lot more important as the L word is defining factor in an intimate relationship and verbalizing it signifies the depth and seriousness of the union.
Despite this, there may be times we just desensitizing ourselves to the most powerful phrase " I Love you ". Everytime that we say it, when it isn't what we mean, we diminish the meaning more and more. Soon, it will not be a phrase of commitment and devotion, but just a phrase of admiration. And if admiration is that we can accomplish as a society, what else is there to strive for?
If we don't mean it,we don't need to say it. We need to keep a grasp on what is left of our " I Love you "s. We need to tuck them in our pocket and keep them for those that truly need them from us. We need to give them to our families, and our significant other. We need to say it to the people who need to hear it from us more than anything. We need to say it to those addicts in our life, or those who just can't seem to shake loose of the depression that clings to their backs. These are the people that need to hear it. These are the people whose lives can be changed by this phrase. This is the power behind the phrase " I Love you ",and we need to stop wasting it.
If you truly love someone, then tell them. Say it when meaning behind your eyes and a smile on your face that has purpose. This can make an absolute difference and this can save the phrase " I Love you " from losing all of its meaning. We need this phrase like we need food, without it, we begin to wither.
If you love them, tell them. It can make the difference in their day or even their life. Don't let the power of " I Love you " fade with this generation.
